CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Relatives are asking for help in finding a 16-year-old Kanawha County girl who went missing Christmas night.

Robin Reed's family last saw her when she was visiting a home in Rand for the holidays, said Taylor Thompson, Reed's sister.

Reed had been staying at a Pressley Ridge youth home in Parkersburg, but came home for a Christmas break.

Thompson said Friday that on Christmas night her sister packed her bags and sneaked out and no one has reported seeing her since.

State Police Trooper N.A. Benavides is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police detachment in Quincy at 304-949-3136 or call 911.

Reed, who has brown hair, was last seen wearing a white coat and tan Timberland boots. Relatives believe that she could be in South Charleston, Charleston, Huntington or somewhere in Putnam County.
