Benjamin to serve as chief justice this year

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Brent Benjamin will serve as chief justice this year.

Court members determine the position annually. He replaces Justice Menis Ketchum as chief.

Benjamin was elected to the Supreme Court in 2004 and previously served as chief justice in 2009.
