CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A symposium to discuss West Virginia's new business court is set for later this month in Charleston.

The new division of the West Virginia Supreme Court was created to streamline legal actions between business entities. The Martinsburg-based court began operating last October.

West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Robin Jean Davis will be the keynote speaker at the Jan. 22 symposium, hosted by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. At least two of the business court's four judges are expected to attend.

Reservations for the $30-per-person event can be made by contacting Kim Nelson at knel...@wvchamber.com, or by calling 304-342-1115.
