ACTING WORKSHOPS: 9 to 10:30 a.m., Alban Arts Center, 65 Olde Main St., St. Albans. Professional actress and performance coach Pamela Chabora will host workshops on comedy and vocal acting techniques. The comedy session runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and teaches everything from physical comedy to the comedy of menace. The vocal acting session runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon and teaches basic techniques for vocal characterization that are healthy and voice building. The fee is $50 per class or $75 for both. CYAC AUDITION: 2 p.m., Capitol Center Theater, 123 Summers St. The Contemporary Youth Arts Company will hold auditions for the new Dan Kehde play, "Western Civ." The drama, about the loss of innocence during the antiwar demonstrations of the 1960s, runs March 14-17 and 21-23. A large cast of actors ages 13-25 is required.
