Women With Abundant Life,: 1534 Washington St. E., are hosting "Step Out of Fear and Walk into Your Season" from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 18 at the church. Words of encouragement will be given by Renea Crozier, Rachel Hill, Thelma Hughes, Katedra McCoy and Nicole Pharr. The event is free and all are welcome. Liberty Missionary Baptist Church: will install officers at the 3 p.m. Sunday service. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Lenorris Dixon, pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, along with their choir(s) and congregation.

Pastor Randy Carter of Set Free Ministries: will be preaching, "HE turned my mourning into dancing," at 8 a.m. Sunday on channel WQCW, Suddenlink channel 6, and Direct TV and Dish channel 30.

The Achievers Class: of the Fifth Avenue Church of God in South Charleston will open its Clothes Closet from 10 a.m. to noon on Jan. 19.  Clothes are free to families and individuals in need. Abundant Life Bible College,: 1534 Washington St. E., will begin its next course, "Ordinance Ministry" from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Topics include Baptism, Holy Communion, Baby Dedications, Weddings and Funerals. The fee for this six-week course is $100 and all are welcome to attend. A gospel sing benefit: for Johnny "Redd" Booker and James Seals will be held at 2 p.m. today at Vandalia Baptist Church. Featured soloists will be Alisha English-Gibson, Stratus, Arthur Horton, Vandalia Male Chorus and Christina Brown. Contact Dana Hart at 304-533-0865 for more information.

Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Center,: 5028 Kentucky Ave., South Charleston, will sponsor an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 2 to 7 p.m. Jan. 22 at the church. Music:

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Male Chorus: will be in concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at the New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church on First Avenue. The Nondenominational Fellowship Pentecostal Ministries is sponsoring this program, Debbie Thomas, Pastor.

Randy Wood: will be singing at 11 a.m. Sunday at Marmet Baptist Church.
