WEST VIRGINIA HUNTING AND FISHING SHOW: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Charleston Civic Center. Admission to the event is $8 for adults and $1 for children age 6 to 12. Children under age 6 get in free. Two auctions of hunting and fishing gear will take place, a silent auction at 4 p.m. and a live auction with auctioneer Col. Larry Boggs at 5 p.m. There is no cover charge for either auction and you can begin registering for the auctions at 3:30 p.m.

OPERA AT THE MOVIES: 12:55 p.m., Regal in Nitro and Cinemark at Huntington Mall. The Metropolitan Opera's performance of Gaetano Donizetti's "Maria Suarda" will screen live. The production lasts approximately four hours. Based on the lives of Mary, Queen of Scots, and her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I. Tickets at Nitro are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors and children.
