West Side fire quickly put out

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Firefighters quickly put out a fire reported on the West Side Thursday evening.

At 5:43 p.m. a fire was reported at the old Charleston Lincoln-Mercury dealership building at the corner of Maryland Avenue and Virginia Street.

The Charleston Fire Department responded and quickly put out the blaze, Metro 911 dispatchers said.
