MAN -- Police in Logan County locked down Man Middle School for more than an hour while they investigated reports of a shooting in the area Friday morning.

State Police Sgt. C.E. Stump said troopers were notified of a non-fatal shooting at a home along Green Valley Addition at about 10:30 a.m. The school was on lockdown as a precaution, Stump said.

No one was in danger and the shooting was self-inflicted, he said.
