A tractor-trailer wreck backed up traffic for miles on Interstate 64 westbound.

This tractor-trailer ended up on its side in the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 when its driver tried to make the turn at the end of Charleston's Eugene Carter Bridge over the Kanawha River.

Students at Stonewall Jackson Middle School line up early Friday afternoon for their buses. Across the state Friday, most students whose classes weren't canceled outright found themselves going home two or three hours early.
