Man hospitalized after West Side stabbing

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A man was stabbed around six times Sunday morning on the West Side, Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers said.

A woman called 911 around 7:45 a.m. and told dispatchers her aunt came to her home on McQueen Street and said she had stabbed her husband.

Charleston police said the stabbing occurred in the 1400 block of Red Oak Street.

The man was taken to CAMC General Hospital.

Police said around 4:30 p.m. Sunday that no arrests had been made.

No other information was immediately available Sunday.
