Little builders at work
Chris Dorst
Nate Orders, of Charleston, turns the wheel moving the conveyor belt holding a tower of blocks, which his daughters, Elizabeth, 5, (left) and Catherine, 8, (right), have constructed. Samuel Miller, 7, of Nitro, lowers a green bucket as his mother, Kimberly, watches. The Little Builders exhibit, a hands-on exhibit meant to teach cause and effect and show mechanical physics at work, runs through May 5 at the Clay Center.
