MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- A Bunker Hill couple will stand trial on charges of burning four children with cigarettes and other abuses.

The Journal reports that the trial of 29-year-old Nathan A. Snyder and 43-year-old Christina Snyder is scheduled to begin in Monday in Berkeley County Circuit Court.

A grand jury indicted the couple in February 2010 on multiple counts of child abuse causing bodily injury.

The alleged victims were an 8-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys.

The Snyders are accused of burning the children with cigarettes, shooting them with bottle rockets and BB guns, beating them and other abuses.
