Family law warrant sweep nets 12 arrests

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department arrested 12 people during domestic violence and family law warrant sweeps Thursday.

Five people were arrested on outstanding warrants for failure to pay child support: Chyra Ellis, 29, of Dunbar; Tracy Farley, 40, of Nitro; Wesley Jarrett, 41, of Sissonville; James Kiser, 36, of Sissonville; and Joseph Workman, 24, of Dunbar.

Five were arrested for domestic violence charges: Terrell Johnson, 25, of South Charleston; Timothy McCune, 51, of South Charleston; William Tuttle, 21, of South Charleston; Anthony Waller, 22, of Sissonville; and Rochelle Williams, 36, of Institute.

Also arrested were Jeffrey Fields, 36, of Dunbar, with violating a protection order and Joseph Good, 29, of Charleston, with failure to appear on a truancy offense.
