A man who went missing Thursday afternoon has been found dead about one mile from his home in northern Kanawha County.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A man who went missing Thursday afternoon has been found dead about one mile from his home in northern Kanawha County.
West Virginia State Police said Daniel Earl Kennedy, 75, was last seen around 3 p.m. Thursday in the woods near Dutch Ridge Road in Clendenin.
State Police, the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department, the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department and Kennedy's family spent hours searching in the area.
Troopers found Kennedy's body about a mile from the road. It appears he died from natural causes.
