Applications accepted for state judge vacancy

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Applications are being accepted to fill a circuit judge vacancy representing Lewis and Upshur counties.

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin says the deadline to apply for the vacancy in the 26th Judicial Circuit is March 6. Interviews will be held later that month.

The vacancy was created by the retirement of Thomas H. Keadle.

Applications are being accepted by the Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission.
