Rape Aggression Defense workshop
Hurricane Police Department will offer a R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) course Wednesday nights beginning Wednesday at Hurricane City Hall. The basic self-defense class for women will involve some lecture and physical, practical training. The class is $50 per student. To enroll or for information, contact Cpl. J.R. W.Va. Landlords meeting

Sons of Confederate Veterans No. 1470 camp meeting
Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp No. 1470 will have a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the home of its commander, Roger C. Lynch, at 227 Grosscup Ave., Dunbar.
