Upshur man charged in string of home burglaries

FRENCH CREEK,W.Va. -- An Upshur County man was arrested over the weekend and charged in connection with a string of home break-ins.

Upshur County Sheriff David Coffman said Dustin Mills, 25, of French Creek, was arrested at his home on Friday and charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering and grand larceny. Deputies allegedly recovered more than $5,000 in stolen equipment and cleared breaking and entering cases in Alton, French Creek, Childers Run, Brooks Hill and Alexander.

Mills was in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on Monday, with bond set at $95,000.
