Officials say Murphy is booked to perform at the Charleston Municipal Auditorium April 6 in his only public concert scheduled in the area for 2013.
Tickets go on sale to the public Tuesday and range in price from $25 to $40.
Proceeds from the Spring Fling concert benefit the Community Music Association and Junior Achievement of West Virginia.
The Logan native won the NBC talent show and a $1 million prize in 2011, along with a headline show in Las Vegas.
