Open discussion

Alpha Theta meeting

Alpha Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa will have a business meeting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Dunbar. Speaker will be Frances Pack of Kanawha County Schools. Contact: Ethel Rooper at 304-562-3121 for information.

Relationship workshop

Kanawha Pastoral Counseling will offer a "Relationship Skill Building" workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Teays Valley Nazarene Church. The workshop will be led by Andy Counts, LPC, and qualifies for the West Virginia pre-marital preparation marriage license discount.

Met Opera

Met Opera will present "Rigoletto" by Verdi live in high definition from 12:55 to approximately 4:25 p.m. Saturday at Cinemark in Huntington Mall, Barboursville and Great Escape in Nitro. Spaghetti dinner

George Washington High School Patriot Band will have its annual spaghetti dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the school. The cost for the dinner is $7 for adults, $4 for children age 6 and younger. The dinner includes spaghetti, salad, hot rolls, dessert and beverage. Takeout is available. Entertainment provided by GW Ensembles and JA Jazz band.
