CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Association of Counties has postponed the release of its new book -- "Living Monuments: The Courthouse." It was scheduled at Taylor Books on Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Patricia Hamilton, executive director of WVACO, said the printer has not yet sent copies of the new book to the organization's office.

A rescheduled book release event will be announced in the near future.

"Living Monuments" features photographs of all 55 county courthouses in West Virginia. The book also explores the history and architecture of each courthouse, and includes interesting stories about each one.
