KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: 1:30 p.m., Barboursville City Park Trail. Meet at 1:30 p.m. to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at lake to shuttle to start of hike. The hike is about 4 miles on various terrain and a few long hills. Optional dinner at Tascalli's.

KANAWHA PLAYERS AUDITIONS: 1 to 3 p.m., Kanawha Players Theater, 309 Beauregard St. The Kanawha Players will hold auditions for "The Sugar Bean Sisters." In this comedy, two Florida sisters are determined to escape spinsterhood by hopping the next spaceship out of town. Roles are available for one male age 50-65 and four females age 50-70. STAGE COMPANY AUDITIONS: 7 p.m., Capitol Center Theater, 123 Summers St. Charleston Stage Company will hold additional auditions for the ensemble monologue show "Love, Loss and What I Wore." Cast size is flexible, and roles are available for women of all ages. The comedy is by Nora and Delia Ephron, adapted from Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name.
