FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- A grand jury has indicted a janitor from Florida and a West Virginia prison inmate on charges they killed three people at Fairmont's Windmill Park in 1974.

WBOY says a Marion County grand jury charged 59-year-old Eddie Jack Washington and 64-year-old Phillip Bush on Friday. Each faces three counts of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy.

Authorities say they're responsible for the deaths of 20-year-old Lester Phillips, 19-year-old Wanda Jane Phillips and 27-year-old Billy Ray Cobb.

Washington was arrested Feb. 7 in Tampa, where he'd been living for more than a decade. He was being held Friday at North Central Regional Jail.

The Division of Corrections database shows Bush is already at Mount Olive Correctional Complex, serving a sentence imposed in 1983 for first-degree murder in Ohio County.
