CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Charleston man was arrested Saturday after police say he masturbated in a McDonald's in Cross Lanes.

Tiance Anton Hughes, 31, was charged with indecent exposure, a misdemeanor, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

Police responded to complaints that a man was watching pornography on a laptop computer with his hand down his pants in the restaurant lobby, Kanawha Sheriff's Deputy C.R. Atha wrote in the complaint.

When police arrived, employees said the man had walked across the street to the Cross Lanes Public Library. Atha wrote that Hughes told him he had been at the McDonald's looking at "bikini pics" on his computer.

However, Atha wrote he found a website "of pornographic nature" open on the computer.

Sunday night, Hughes was being held in the South Central Regional Jail on $500 bail.
