CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston police are looking for a woman who allegedly stabbed another woman in the face with a bottle outside a West Side bar early Monday.

Detective Jarl Taylor said police went to the Birdcage Lounge, in the 1600 block of Sixth Avenue, around 2:30 a.m. Monday. A woman there said that after an argument the suspect, in her late 20s, broke a bottle and used it to cut the woman above the lip.

The victim, in her early 20s, was taken to the hospital, where she received stitches, Taylor said.

In another incident at the bar Monday morning, three men pulled a gun on a group outside the bar, Taylor said.

The gun wasn't brandished on the woman who was stabbed, but Taylor said the incidents might be related.

Police are looking for the men, who fled in a tan Jeep Grand Cherokee with grayish bumpers and tinted windows, according to Taylor.

Police haven't released the name of the woman wanted in connection with the stabbing, but Taylor said she "has a little bit of criminal history."
