ELKINS, W.Va. -- A Tygarts Valley High School student has been charged with murder in the death of a classmate who was stabbed to death before a football game last fall.

A Randolph County grand jury indicted 17-year-old Dailey resident Thomas Chevy Vas in the death of Dustin White last October. White also was 17.

The stabbing occurred outside the stadium in Mill Creek about 20 minutes before a game between Tygarts Valley and Hundred High School.

The Inter-Mountain of Elkins reported Wednesday that the case was moved to adult criminal court in January.
