Nick Felber, 7, a Wolf rank Cub Scout from Pack 162 of Poca, carefully places his Pinewood Derby car and aligns it on the track just right to race in a heat as pioneer District Assistant Commissioner Josh Wiseman watches. The annual race, held at Turnpike Chevrolet in Nitro, featured 18 packs from Putnam County and the Institute area with 54 boys in first to fifth grade.
