'Early Spring Crops' workshop

West Virginia University Extension and ReStore will continue its gardening series with an 'Early Spring Crops' workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the John L. Dance

The Hansford Center is sponsoring a dance at 6 p.m. Saturday at its location, 500 Washington St. in St. Albans. Doors open at 5 p.m. for food sales. Music will be provided by the Mountain Gold Band. Admission is by donation, with suggested donation $3 and up.

Kanawha Estates Garden Club

The Kanawha Estates Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the home of Mary Jenkins. Mischa Reveal will serve as co-hostess. Joanna Christian will present the program titled, "Name that Weed." For information, call 304-925-0778.

Town hall meeting

Delegate Tim Armstead will hold a town hall meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Elk River Community Center, located at 1078 Main St., Elkview.

The Gen. R.S. Garnet Camp No. 1470

The Gen. R.S. Garnet Camp No. 1470, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will open their library to all the members of the camp. The list of books will be available at the next meeting held 7 p.m. March 21 at the commander's home. The books are available to paid-up members of the camp.
