CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Black Business Association Supporting Entrepreneurs will host a free networking meeting for business professionals in Charleston Saturday evening.

The meeting will be held at the West Virginia State University Economic Development Center, 1506 Kanawha Blvd., from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Sim Fryson, former president of Sim Fryson Motor Co., will speak at the event. Refreshments will be provided.

The WVSU Extension Service launched BBASE in January to promote entrepreneurship, stimulate growth and serve as a resource for black-owned businesses by providing networking and mentoring opportunities.

Sandra Moss, WVSU Extension agent for business development, said in a news release the program has started off strong.

"We welcome area business leaders to join us for this exciting networking opportunity to share ideas and meet other African-American entrepreneurs in the Kanawha Valley," Moss said.

For information, contact Moss at 304-720-1401 or smo...@wvstateu.edu.
