Kanawha Trail Club will sponsor a hike Sunday on Nuttallburg trails near the New River Gorge. Meet at noon to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at Canyon Rim Visitors Center. The hike is 3 miles long on easy trails. Enjoy views of the gorge and historical interpretations. There is an optional additional 1 mile hike that is a moderate uphill climb.

Joker Run-Walk

Charleston Parks and Recreation and Tallman Track Club will sponsor a Joker Run-Walk and Joker for Kids March 24 at West Virginia University/CAMC Memorial Hospital in Kanawha City. The event starts on 31st Street and Virginia Avenue. The walk begins at 1 p.m., the Joker for Kids at 1:05 p.m. and the run begins at 2 p.m. The Joker Run will consist of a 4-mile/8-mile run, 5K walk; and the Joker for Kids, ages 4-7, race 1/2 mile, and 8-12 years' 1-mile race. The registration fee is $25. There is no fee for the Joker for Kids. Registration opens at noon on race day. Prizes will be awarded, and participants will receive a Joker Run T-shirt. Contract bridge class

Putnam County Parks and Recreation Commission is hosting beginners contract bridge card classes from 7 to 9:30 p.m. March 26 through June 11 in the Commons at Valley Park in Hurricane. Dollhouse club

Mountaineer Miniatures of Fairmont, the only dollhouse club in the state, is sponsoring its annual show and sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13 at the Ramada Inn near Morgantown. A furnished three-story dollhouse will be raffled off at $1 a ticket or six for $5. All proceeds from the raffle and the $1 admission for adults will be given to Make-A-Wish Foundation. There will be vendor tables. The Ramada Inn is located off Interstate 79 exit 148/Interstate 68 exit 1.

St. Albans Woman's Club

General Federation Women's Club invites St. Albans ladies to join the club at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. April 14 in the Municipal Utility Commission basement, St. Albans City Hall, 1499 MacCorkle Ave. Light refreshments will be served.
