JOKER RUN-WALK: Walk begins at 1 p.m., Joker Run for Kids at 1:05 p.m. and the run begins at 2 p.m., West Virginia University/ CAMC Memorial Hospital in Kanawha City. Race starts on 31st Street and Virginia Avenue. Sponsored by Charleston Parks and Recreation and Tallman Track Club. Registration is $25. There is no fee for the Joker for Kids. Registration opens at noon on race day. Prizes will be awarded, and participants will receive a Joker Run T-shirt. KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB: will sponsor a hike on Nuttallburg trails near New River Gorge. Meet at noon to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at Canyon Rim Visitor Center. The hike is 3 miles on easy trails. Enjoy views of gorge and historical interpretations. There is an optional additional mile that is a moderate uphill climb.
