CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- State regulators are holding a public hearing this week on a proposed emergency water quality standards rule.

The rule proposed by the Department of Environmental Protection would revise criteria for dissolved aluminum and beryllium.

The DEP's Division of Water and Waste Management will hold the hearing Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the DEP's headquarters in Charleston.
