MADISON, W.Va. -- Sen. Jay Rockefeller and Rep. Nick Rahall are scheduled to attend a ceremony honoring graduates of the 25th Judicial Circuit Judicial Drug Court in Madison.
One adult from Lincoln County and three adults from Boone County will graduate today at the Coal Heritage Museum. The court is one of 20 covering 30 counties in the state that serve eligible substance-abusing or drug-addicted offenders.
They receive treatment and other services in lieu of going through traditional justice system processing.
The state also has 16 juvenile drug courts covering 20 counties.
