Dunbar woman dead after smashing car into church
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Dunbar woman was killed this morning after slamming into a church near Charleston.
Amy D. Toler, 33, of Dunbar, was heading north on Greenbrier Street about 3:15 a.m. when she apparently lost control of her car in a left-hand turn, crossed over the center line and slammed into Meadowbrook Freewill Baptist Church, according to Capt. Sean Crosier of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.
Toler was killed in the wreck. Crosier said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
He said neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected as contributing to the accident.
