Man charged after stabbing in South Charleston
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Charleston man has been charged in connection to a stabbing attack in South Charleston on Sunday.
Kevin Lamont Lee Jr., 23, of 929 7th St., was charged with a felony count of malicious wounding, according to a criminal complaint on file in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Lee allegedly got into an argument with Thomas Brown at a home in South Charleston at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday. During the fight, Brown was stabbed once in the abdomen, once in the chest, twice in the face, four times in the back, once in the left shoulder and once in the left elbow, according to the complaint.
Brown was in fair condition in the intensive care unit of CAMC General Hospital, according to hospital staff. Lee was in the South Central Regional Jail, with bail set at $10,000.
