Inwood man accused of pulling gun at health center

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- An Inwood man faces charges of pointing a loaded gun at a health care worker after he was told to change clothes for an X-ray.

Media outlets report that no one was injured.

The incident occurred Wednesday at the Center for Orthopedic Excellence in Martinsburg.

According to court documents, an employee told police that Michael Holmes became upset and pulled a handgun after she told him he had to change clothes for an X-ray. She shut the room's door and left that area of the building, which was evacuated.

Police found the 70-year-old Holmes sitting on a patient's table holding the gun, which was loaded. He was arrested without incident and charged with brandishing a deadly weapon.

A telephone listing for Holmes in the Inwood area could not be found.
