Boil-water advisories issued for several areas

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for customers in the West Charleston and Sissonville Drive areas of Charleston. The specific streets under the advisory are Sugar Creek Drive, Lilly Drive, Craze Drive and Tale Drive. The advisory follows a water main break.

West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 60 residential customers in the Brooklyn Heights and Cunard Coal Camp areas of Oak Hill. This advisory includes any customers who lost water service or experienced low pressure along Cunard Road or Brooklyn Loop Road. The advisory follows a water main break.

The Raleigh County Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for the Clear Creek areas of Spruce Mountain to McDowell Hollow.

Bluewell Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for customers in the area of Shed Sales, south to Amico's Pizza, following a water main break.

Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
