International sorority meeting

Charleston City Council of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority: board will meet at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the South Charleston Municipal Court Building. The general business meeting will be held at 7 p.m. President Anne Stone will conduct the business meeting. All officers and committee members are to attend. Installation of officers for the 2013-14 term will be held. All committee reports are due at the meeting.

Craft show

The Fayette County Cancer Support Group will sponsor a craft show featuring local artisans from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 4 at the Lewis Community Center, 469 Central Ave., Oak Hill. Admission is by donation. Door prizes will be given away hourly and refreshments will be available. Spaces are available for rental for $35. The event is connected with the group's Relay for Life event. Call Jane Hardy at 304-640-1120.

Gardening series

West Virginia University and ReStore will sponsor a gardening series on "Pest Management" from 10 a.m. to noon May 4 in the John L. Dickinson Family Homeowner Education and Community Center at 815 Court St. John Porter, WVU Extension Agent, Agriculture and Natural Resources, will lead the workshop. Volunteers needed for North House Museum

Greenbrier Historical Society in Lewisburg is seeking volunteers to greet visitors, answer phones and give tours at the North House Museum, located at 301 W. Washington St., Lewisburg. Volunteers will also assist with school programs and work with the museum's collections. Those interested can contact Elizabeth McMullen at 304-645-3398 or director@greenbrierhistorical.org. The Greenbrier Historical Society and North House Museum is located at 301 W.
