Fayette man pleads guilty to pot possession, intent to distribute

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Fayette County man pleaded guilty in federal court to possession with intent to distribute marijuana on Monday.

William Michael Holley, 42, formerly of Oak Hill, had more than 34 pounds of marijuana in an outbuilding near his residence, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.

He faces up to 15 years and a $250,000 fine when U.S. District Judge John Copenhaver Jr. sentences him on Aug. 2.
