By Staff reports

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Nicholas County man pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine.

Brian Craig Crouse, 50, of Belva, sold methamphetamine and other controlled substances from his home from at least January 2011 through Jan. 29 of this year, according to a media release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin's office.

He sold between 500 and 1,500 grams of methamphetamine, according to the release, and he faces a minimum of 10 years in prison when U.S. District Judge John T. Copenhaver Jr. sentences him Aug. 20.
