West Virginia birthday art

Robin Taylor of the state Department of Education and the Arts, one of the judges for the state Department of Commerce's sesquicentennial student art contest, looks over entries from fourth- and fifth-grade students on Tuesday. The winning entries will be displayed in the state Capitol Rotunda on June 20-22, the weekend of the 150th anniversary of West Virginia's statehood.
