Two face drug trafficking charges in Fayette
SCARBRO, W.Va. -- A man and woman were arrested Thursday in Fayette County on drug trafficking charges after members of the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force seized several prescriptions, including Xanax and Roxicodone, and thousands of dollars in cash from a Scarbro residence.
Kenna Sue Bass, 36, of Robson, was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to commit a felony after undercover officers bought prescription medication at the residence, according to a news release from Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler.
Andre Lamarian Riley, 51, of Detroit, also was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit a felony and transportation of controlled substances into the state.
Bail for Bass and Riley was set at $120,000 each. Both were being held Friday in Southern Regional Jail.
