Police find suitcase with meth materials

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Materials used to make methamphetamine were found in a suitcase on Sunday afternoon outside of a Charleston apartment building, according to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers.

The suitcase was found at about 2:20 p.m. on a sidewalk outside of Terrace Park East apartment building, at 2106 Kanawha Blvd., just two blocks from the state Capitol, dispatchers said.

Charleston police are investigating.
