Woman struck by car in Nitro
NITRO, W.Va. -- Nitro police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident on Main Avenue.
Nitro police said Crystal Dawn Marshall, 30, was crossing a side street on Main Avenue near Kanawha Brick and Block at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday, when she was hit by a car that fled the scene.
Police are talking to neighbors and trying to determine if nearby businesses have surveillance footage of the accident. Nitro Police Chief Brian Oxley said they are looking for a dark-colored car. Marshall was treated and released from CAMC General Hospital.
