KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: 12:30 p.m., in Yatesville, Ky. Meet to carpool at 12:30 p.m. from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at Mary Ingles trailhead. The hike is approximately 2 1/2 miles on Mary Ingles trail loop with several moderate hills and an overlook with benches. There is also a 1-mile hike on the lakeside trail. Hike one or both trails.
MORGAN'S KITCHEN MUSEUM OPEN HOUSE: 2 to 4 p.m., free, at the cabin located along MacCorkle Avenue in St. Albans. The cabin was built in 1846 and was moved to it's current location in 1972, when the John Amos Power Plant was built. It contains vintage kitchen items from when it was used as a plantation kitchen.
