MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Military families can buy groceries for an average of 30 percent off this weekend at a special commissary sale sponsored by the West Virginia National Guard.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at building 305 of the 167th Airlift Wing in Martinsburg.
Organizers said shoppers can find fresh meat and produce, as well as canned goods, snacks, pet food, water and sports drinks.
The commissary also has pet food, household cleaning supplies and personal care items.Current and retired members of any branch of the armed services can shop with a military ID card. Dependents can also shop if they have a card.
