Trail club hike
Kanawha Trail Club will meet for a hike Saturday from the New River Gorge Bridge to Hawks Nest. Meet at 9 a.m. to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at the Canyon Rim Visitor Center. The hike is approximately 6 to 8 miles on a moderate trail.
Dobson-Craddock Toastmasters Club will meet at noon on the first and third Thursdays of the month at the South Charleston Public Library. For information, contact Jason Krantz at 304-963-6002.
Party on the patio
The Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District has partnered with PATH to the Cure to present a Party on the Patio in Pink from 7 to 11 p.m. June 21 at Heritage Station in Huntington. A free concert featuring the Oakwood Road Band will be featured. Early registration will be taken for the PATH to the Cure Walk and Run scheduled for Sept. 29. Free T-shirts and wristbands will be given to those registering, while supplies last. Wear pink clothing if you wish.
