Concert website has Goo Goo Dolls playing Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Goo Goo Dolls are coming to the Charleston Municipal Auditorium Aug. 21, and Matchbox Twenty may be tagging along.

The concert date was posted Tuesday morning to the Goo Goo Dolls website and Pollstar, a concert tracking website. No information about the show was available through Matchbox Twenty's website, but the two bands are touring extensively together over the summer, and Matchbox Twenty was listed on Pollstar.

Goo Goo Dolls' hits include "Slide," "Name" and "Iris," the last appearing on the "City of Angels" soundtrack and earning a Grammy nomination. Matchbox Twenty's hits include "3 A.M.," "Push" and "Unwell," the latter two of which were nominated for Grammys.

Matchbox Twenty's last album, "North," was released in 2012. Goo Goo Dolls' new record, "Magnetic," was released Tuesday.

Tickets information for the show has not been announced.
