Police seek man in gunfire on Quarrier Street

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police are looking for a man they said fired a handgun after an argument on Charleston's East End on Tuesday.

Kevin Maurice Watson, 27, allegedly got into a verbal argument with two individuals in the 1300 block of Quarrier Street at 5 p.m.

Watson then pulled out a handgun and fired two rounds at the pair, Charleston Police Sgt. Tony Hazelett said in a news release. No one was injured.

Police plan to charge Watson with wanton endangerment. Anyone with information about Watson's whereabouts is asked to call the Charleston Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at 304-348-6480.
