CEDAR GROVE, W.Va. -- One man was injured when he drove a street sweeper over an embankment in Cedar Grove early Tuesday morning.
The man crashed through a guardrail and went over a small embankment along East Dupont Avenue at 7:18 a.m.
The street sweeper landed upside down on the railroad tracks nearby and firefighters cut the driver out, according to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers. He was taken to CAMC General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident closed a portion of U.S. 60 for more than two hours.
