WHEELING, W.Va. -- The former RG Steel headquarters in Wheeling has been sold to an Ohio company.
Jay Goodman of Harvey Goodman Realty tells WTRF-TV that New Albany, Ohio-based Access Infostructures bought the building. The company runs several medical facilities in the Columbus and Dayton areas.
Goodman didn't reveal the price, but it went up for sale in December for $900,000.
Built in 1905, the 13-story building once served as the headquarters of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.
RG formed in 2011 when Wheeling-Pitt's former operations were combined with Bethlehem Steel's former Sparrows Point mill in Baltimore, and the former WCI Steel plant in Warren, Ohio. RG filed for bankruptcy protection in May 2012.
